“Building Your Birth Team: Essential Components of Doula Care”

Diana Snyder, JD, is a birth and postpartum doula, longtime birth advocate, and the founder of Matrescence, her doula practice serving families throughout Western Wisconsin. With experience supporting more than 200 births, Diana brings a wealth of knowledge to families as they prepare for birth and the transition into parenthood.

Her approach to doula care is holistic, combining education, advocacy, hands-on labor support, and thoughtful preparation while honoring birth and postpartum as significant rites of passage. Diana has particular experience supporting VBAC and out-of-hospital birth and is passionate about helping parents feel informed, capable, and supported as they make decisions about their care.
